Choosing a medspa SEO agency is harder than it should be.
Search for the “best medspa SEO agency” and you will find dozens of lists written by marketing agencies that conveniently rank themselves first. More importantly, many companies that advertise medspa SEO are generalist agencies with a medical spa landing page rather than genuine experience in aesthetics.
Medspa SEO has also changed. Ranking a few treatment pages on Google is no longer enough. A strong strategy in 2026 needs to consider local search, Google Maps, treatment-specific content, technical SEO, conversion paths, reviews, entity signals, and increasingly, visibility in AI-generated answers.
So rather than naming one universal winner, I compared seven agencies that stand out for different types of medical spa.
The best medspa SEO agencies in 2026
| Agency | Best for | Standout strength |
|---|---|---|
| Medspa Market Pro | Independent and multi-location medspas wanting hands-on SEO, local SEO and AEO/GEO | Medspa specialization + founder-led strategy + original industry data |
| Studio 3 Marketing | Established and multi-location aesthetic brands | Strong published SEO case studies and full-service execution |
| First Page Sage | Larger practices investing heavily in content, SEO and GEO | Thought-leadership SEO at scale |
| DoctorLogic | Medspas needing a new website alongside SEO | Medical website platform + SEO |
| Growth99 | Clinics wanting SEO, CRM and marketing automation together | All-in-one aesthetics marketing platform |
| PatientGain | Practices that value transparent packages and pricing | Local SEO + packaged healthcare marketing |
| Plastix Marketing | Plastic surgery and aesthetic practices wanting SEO + web design | Narrow aesthetics specialization and long-term organic growth |
Important: this is not a 1-to-7 ranking. The strongest option depends on the size of your practice, current website, market, budget, and whether you need pure SEO or a broader patient acquisition system.
Disclosure and methodology
I founded Medspa Market Pro agency, which is included in this comparison.
That obviously means I am not an independent reviewer of my own agency, so I have not ranked Medspa Market Pro “best overall.” Where I mention MMP results, I identify them as published first-party data and link to the underlying case studies so readers can evaluate the evidence themselves.
I reviewed the agencies based primarily on:
- Medspa and aesthetics specialization: Does the agency genuinely work in medical aesthetics, or simply serve healthcare businesses in general?
- Published SEO evidence: Are there case studies with rankings, traffic, impressions, leads, or other measurable results?
- Local SEO depth: Does the strategy include Google Business Profile, local treatment searches, location architecture and Maps visibility?
- SEO execution: Technical SEO, service pages, content, internal linking, authority and conversion optimization.
- AEO/GEO readiness: Is the agency adapting SEO for AI Overviews, ChatGPT and other answer engines?
- Reputation and transparency: Public reviews, case studies, pricing information, methodology and clarity around who actually manages the account.
Public information was reviewed in September 2026.
1. Medspa Market Pro: Best for hands-on medspa SEO, local search and AI visibility
Best for: Independent and multi-location medspas that want direct strategic involvement rather than a large-agency account-management model.
Medspa Market Pro is a boutique marketing agency focused specifically on medical aesthetics.
Its SEO approach combines treatment-page optimization, local SEO, Google Business Profile strategy, content, city and location architecture, conversion optimization, analytics, and AEO/GEO.
The biggest difference is probably the level of specialization.
Rather than applying the same SEO framework across dentists, lawyers, SaaS companies and medspas, the agency works around the actual searches that drive aesthetic patient acquisition: Botox, fillers, GLP-1 programs, Morpheus8, laser treatments, body contouring and similar high-value treatments.
There is also substantial published first-party data.
One local SEO campaign for three-location Bay Area medspa generated 293,000+ Google Search impressions and 1,792 organic clicks across 26 city pages, with more than 15 cities reaching page 1 or 2 at the time the case study was published.
The agency's case-study library reports 133,000+ aggregate organic clicks from SEO work, alongside paid and local-search results.
Medspa Market Pro has also analyzed 505 structured medspa audits, covering SEO, Google Business Profiles, tracking, booking paths, social media and AI-search readiness. Among the clinics assessed for AI visibility, 94% showed entity or AI-readiness gaps.
That research component is relevant because modern medspa SEO increasingly overlaps with AEO and GEO. A clinic needs to be understandable not only to Google, but also to systems synthesizing information about providers, treatments, credentials and local businesses.
Where Medspa Market Pro is strongest
- Medical aesthetics specialization
- Local SEO and city-page strategy
- Treatment-specific SEO
- Content strategy
- AEO and GEO
- Direct founder involvement
- Conversion and booking-path optimization
- Original medspa marketing research
- SEO strategy integrated with paid and social channels when needed
Potential limitation
Medspa Market Pro intentionally operates more like a specialist boutique than a large agency. That can be an advantage for practices wanting senior involvement, but a national chain that needs dozens of people producing creative, websites, video and advertising simultaneously may be better suited to a larger agency.
Best fit: A one-to-several-location medspa that wants SEO tied directly to patient acquisition and values hands-on senior strategy.
2. Studio 3 Marketing: Best for established multi-location medspas
Best for: Larger aesthetic practices and expanding multi-location brands that want SEO integrated with website design, advertising, creative and broader marketing.
Studio 3 Marketing has one of the strongest publicly visible portfolios in the aesthetics category.
Its advantage is not simply that it claims to specialize in medspas. It publishes named case studies with substantial performance data.
For Aurora Medical Spa, Studio 3 reports that website traffic increased 199% within six months after expanding site content and executing local SEO across several states. Priority keywords reportedly moved from approximately page three to the top five results on page one.
Its work with Genesis Lifestyle Medicine is even more relevant for multi-location businesses. Genesis expanded from three locations to 42, while Studio 3 reports monthly website traffic growing to more than 63,000 visitors and leads increasing 12.6 times from the site's first year.
Studio 3's SEO service also highlights multi-location architecture, content development and substantial keyword portfolios.
Where Studio 3 is strongest
- Multi-location SEO
- Large aesthetic brands
- Web design
- SEO + paid media integration
- Creative production
- Brand development
- Strong named case studies
Potential limitation
Studio 3 is a broader full-service partner. A smaller clinic looking only for highly focused SEO may be paying for an agency infrastructure designed for larger engagements.
Best fit: Established medspas with multiple locations, significant growth plans and enough budget to consolidate several marketing functions under one agency.
3. First Page Sage: Best for large-scale content SEO and GEO
Best for: Larger practices that want to build substantial organic authority through thought leadership, content and generative engine optimization.
First Page Sage is not exclusively a medical spa agency. It is a larger SEO company with experience across healthcare and other industries.
Its specialty is different from most agencies on this list: high-volume thought-leadership SEO.
The company says it combines traditional SEO, local SEO and generative engine optimization for medspa and healthcare clients, typically using dedicated strategists, writers and developers.
That can make sense in competitive markets where ranking for a handful of “Botox + city” terms is not enough and the practice wants to become a broader informational authority.
First Page Sage is also actively developing GEO strategies for aesthetic medicine. In a recent plastic-surgery GEO case study, its work included consolidating provider credentials, creating procedure-specific content, correcting how AI systems described the client, and reinforcing authority through third-party sources.
That is much closer to what modern organic visibility increasingly requires.
Where First Page Sage is strongest
- High-volume SEO content
- Thought leadership
- Generative engine optimization
- Healthcare experience
- Large SEO teams
- Content strategy
- Authority building
Potential limitation
It is not a medspa-only agency, and its model is likely more appropriate for organizations prepared to make a significant long-term content investment than for a single-location medspa needing tactical local SEO fixes.
Best fit: Larger clinics and aesthetic groups that want to build a substantial search and AI visibility moat over time.
4. DoctorLogic: Best for medspas that need a website and SEO together
Best for: Practices whose current website is part of the SEO problem.
DoctorLogic combines medical website technology with SEO and digital marketing services.
That distinction matters because sometimes the correct SEO recommendation is not “publish more blogs.” The website itself may have weak treatment architecture, poor conversion paths, slow performance, limited galleries or technical constraints.
DoctorLogic provides medical spa websites alongside treatment-focused SEO, content marketing, PPC and before-and-after gallery functionality.
Its Flawless Salon and Medical Spa case study is particularly useful because it provides measurable SEO outcomes. DoctorLogic reports that within six months of launching the new primary website, the practice's Google keyword footprint increased by more than 700%, while page-one keywords grew by 300%. The company also reports that the client tripled revenue year over year during the engagement, although multiple marketing channels contributed to that result.
Where DoctorLogic is strongest
- Medical website development
- Website + SEO integration
- Treatment keyword optimization
- Content
- Before-and-after galleries
- Paid search integration
Potential limitation
If your existing website is already technically strong and you want a flexible SEO strategy without changing platforms, a website-centric provider may be more than you need.
Best fit: Medspas with an outdated or poorly converting website that want to rebuild their digital foundation while improving organic visibility.
5. Growth99: Best all-in-one SEO and marketing platform
Best for: Medspas that want SEO, website management, lead capture, CRM, reputation management and follow-up in one ecosystem.
Growth99 is somewhat different from a traditional SEO agency.
It positions itself as a marketing platform specifically for aesthetic practices, combining websites, SEO, paid media, CRM, lead management, review generation and automation.
Its SEO offering covers technical SEO, on-page optimization, local citations, Google Business Profile management and ongoing content. The company is also publishing more material around AEO and AI search visibility.
Growth99's newer case studies demonstrate the advantage of this integrated model. Its work with GloDerma combined a website rebuild, local SEO, content, lead capture, reputation management and eventually e-commerce as the practice grew.
The appeal here is operational simplicity.
Instead of using one provider for the website, another for SEO, another CRM for leads and another service for reviews, practices can centralize much of the stack.
Where Growth99 is strongest
- Medspa-specific platform
- SEO
- Google Business Profile
- CRM
- Lead follow-up
- Reputation management
- Websites
- Marketing automation
Potential limitation
An all-in-one platform is not automatically the best option for a clinic that already has strong systems and only needs advanced SEO. Practices should also clarify data ownership, website portability and what happens if they later leave the platform.
Best fit: Clinics that want to simplify their marketing technology and patient-acquisition stack rather than hire several separate vendors.
6. PatientGain: Best for transparent SEO packages
Best for: Medspas that want clearer pricing and a packaged combination of local SEO, website and patient-acquisition tools.
Transparent agency pricing is surprisingly rare.
PatientGain is an exception.
Its current medspa SEO page publishes packages in roughly the $1,699 to $2,499 per month range, depending on service level and market competitiveness. It also offers standalone local SEO options for clinics keeping their existing websites.
The company focuses heavily on local search, treatment pages, Google Business Profile optimization, medical content and conversion tracking.
PatientGain also publishes anonymized performance examples. In one competitive-market example, it reports 1,301 of 2,334 targeted visitors coming through organic search. In another two-location example covering Beverly Hills and Las Vegas, 2,265 of 4,820 targeted visitors were attributed to SEO keywords during the reported period.
Those examples are first-party and anonymized, so they are harder to independently verify than named case studies, but they provide more visibility into methodology than generic promises about “more traffic.”
Where PatientGain is strongest
- Transparent pricing
- Local SEO
- Treatment-specific service pages
- Google Business Profile
- Healthcare marketing
- Website + marketing packages
- Lead tracking
Potential limitation
Its productized model may be less attractive to practices wanting a highly customized boutique strategy.
Best fit: Medspas that prefer a defined monthly package and want to know the approximate investment before entering a sales process.
7. Plastix Marketing: Best for aesthetics-focused SEO and web design
Best for: Medspas, plastic surgeons and elective aesthetic practices wanting an agency focused narrowly on the aesthetics market.
Plastix is one of the more specialized companies on this list.
The agency focuses on plastic surgery, medical spas and related elective aesthetic businesses, with SEO, content, website design, email and advertising managed within the same team.
Its SEO strategy includes geographically specific keyword tracking, technical optimization, content and structured data.
Plastix reports nearly a 70% increase in organic traffic after at least 12 months under its SEO system, and cites one practice whose monthly traffic increased from approximately 4,000 to more than 30,000 visits over 24 months. These are company-reported figures and the client is not identified on the SEO page, so they should be evaluated accordingly.
Where Plastix is strongest
- Aesthetic medicine specialization
- Medical spa SEO
- Plastic surgery SEO
- Website design
- Content
- Technical SEO
- Structured data
Potential limitation
Its positioning spans both medspas and plastic surgery, so a clinic looking for an agency working exclusively with non-surgical medspas may prefer a narrower specialist.
Best fit: Premium aesthetic practices wanting SEO and website execution from a team already familiar with the elective aesthetics patient journey.
So, which medspa SEO agency is best?
There is no credible universal answer.
The better question is: Which agency is best for the problem your medspa actually has?
For a single or small multi-location medspa that wants direct senior involvement, strong local SEO and growing AI visibility, I would shortlist Medspa Market Pro.
For a large or rapidly expanding multi-location medspa, Studio 3 Marketing has some of the strongest publicly available evidence.
For a larger practice investing heavily in content authority and GEO, First Page Sage deserves consideration.
If your website itself needs to be replaced, DoctorLogic or Plastix Marketing may be a better starting point.
If you want SEO combined with CRM, automation and lead management, Growth99 has a stronger all-in-one model.
And if transparent packaged pricing matters, PatientGain makes comparison easier than most agencies.
The important point is that the logo on the proposal matters less than whether the agency can demonstrate a system that matches your growth problem.
What should a medspa SEO agency actually do?
A good medspa SEO strategy in 2026 should go well beyond inserting keywords into blog posts.
At minimum, I would expect an agency to evaluate:
Treatment-page SEO
Each major treatment should have enough depth to answer the questions a prospective patient actually has.
A Botox page, for example, may need to address candidacy, areas treated, expected timeline, provider experience, approximate pricing factors, aftercare, FAQs and a clear consultation path.
Local SEO
Most medspas serve geographically limited markets.
The agency should understand Google Business Profile optimization, reviews, citations, location signals, Maps visibility and searches combining treatments with cities or neighborhoods.
For multi-location practices, local architecture becomes even more important.
Technical SEO
A beautiful website that Google struggles to crawl is still a bad SEO website.
Technical work should include indexability, internal linking, page speed, duplicate content, redirects, canonicals, schema where appropriate and clear site architecture.
Search-intent-driven content
A medspa does not need hundreds of generic skincare articles.
Content should be connected to treatments and real patient decisions.
Useful topics might include treatment comparisons, cost questions, candidacy, recovery, longevity, alternatives and what to expect before or after a procedure.
Conversion optimization
Traffic is not the final KPI.
People need to call, submit a consultation request, click into online booking or otherwise become measurable opportunities.
An SEO agency should therefore care about calls to action, mobile usability, trust elements, provider credentials, reviews, before-and-after proof and booking friction.
Measurement
You should know what happened after SEO traffic arrived.
At minimum, reporting should distinguish rankings and traffic from actual actions such as calls, forms and booking clicks.
AEO and GEO
Patients increasingly discover providers through Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other answer engines.
There is no magic schema that guarantees an AI citation.
The fundamentals are much less exciting: clear entity information, trustworthy treatment content, strong provider credentials, consistent third-party references, structured information, original data and pages that directly answer the questions patients ask.
SEO and GEO are increasingly part of the same visibility system.
Red flags when hiring a medspa SEO company
I would be cautious if an agency:
- Guarantees a #1 Google ranking.
- Promises a specific number of patients before analyzing your market.
- Publishes dozens of generic AI-generated articles with little treatment expertise.
- Cannot show examples of medical spa or aesthetics work.
- Talks about traffic but never discusses consultations or bookings.
- Ignores Google Business Profile and local search.
- Cannot explain exactly what will be done each month.
- Refuses to give you access to Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
- Builds dozens of nearly identical city pages with no meaningful local value.
- Focuses exclusively on rankings while ignoring the quality of the website and booking path.
SEO should create an asset that compounds.
If stopping your monthly retainer would leave you with nothing you own, ask more questions before signing.
Frequently asked questions about medspa SEO agencies
How much does medspa SEO cost?
Most medspa SEO retainers fall somewhere around $1,000 to $5,000 per month, although sophisticated multi-location campaigns can cost considerably more. RankMedSpa currently cites the same approximate $1,000 to $5,000 monthly range for medspa SEO.
Cost depends heavily on competition, location count, existing site quality, content requirements and how much execution the agency handles. The cheapest option is not necessarily bad, and the most expensive agency is not necessarily the best. Compare deliverables and evidence rather than monthly price alone.
How long does SEO take for a medspa?
SEO is normally a compounding channel rather than an immediate acquisition source.
Six to twelve months is a reasonable window for evaluating the broader trajectory of a competitive SEO campaign, although individual pages and local searches can move sooner.
A clinic starting with major technical problems may initially see gains simply from fixing them. A medspa already ranking on page two for competitive terms may require much more content, authority and local work to break into the highest positions.
Is local SEO more important than blogging for a medspa?
For many medspas, yes. A patient searching “Botox near me” or “Morpheus8 in [city]” is much closer to booking than someone reading a generic article about skincare trends.
That does not mean blogging is useless. The strongest strategies connect informational content to commercial treatment pages and local visibility rather than treating a blog as an isolated traffic machine.
Should a medspa hire a specialist agency?
Usually, specialization helps. Medical aesthetics combines healthcare, local business SEO, elective consumer behavior, high-value services, visual proof, reviews and advertising restrictions.
A generalist SEO agency can absolutely produce good work, but it needs to learn the patient journey and competitive landscape first.
A specialist already understands why ranking a Botox page is different from ranking an accounting software comparison.
What is the difference between medspa SEO and medspa GEO?
SEO focuses primarily on increasing visibility in traditional search engines such as Google. GEO, or generative engine optimization, focuses on increasing the likelihood that a business or its content can be understood, retrieved and cited by AI-powered systems. In practice, they increasingly overlap.
Strong treatment pages, clear provider credentials, local authority, consistent entity information, original research and credible third-party mentions can support both traditional search and AI visibility.
Final thoughts
The best medspa SEO agency is the one that understands both how patients search and why they choose one provider over another.
Rankings matter.
But rankings without trust do not create consultations.
Traffic without conversion does not create revenue.
And an agency producing more content every month is not necessarily building more authority.
Before hiring anyone, look at their actual medspa experience, published evidence, local SEO strategy, measurement system, AI-search readiness and the people who will really work on your account.
Then choose the agency whose strengths match the bottleneck in your practice.
If you are not sure what that bottleneck is, an SEO audit is often a better first step than immediately signing a long-term retainer.
